Thought I'd just put an entry in for this gorgeous picture of Schiehallion. Hopefully my father-in-law Jim can then see it on his new computer, which I will hopefully shortly connect to the internet. It might bring some memories back for him.

My Dad carried me to the top of Schiehallion when I was 9 months. When we were older, we had to climb it ourselves. I can still remember the frustration of not getting to the top for hours. Each crest would appear to be the top, but no. We went with our sausage dog, who got lost in the heather for minutes at a time. Every now and again her head would pop up. Seems like cruel and unusual punishment for a stumpy canine to be dragged up a Scottish hill.
